• Blanca Lake, a breathtaking alpine lake situated west of Whistler in the Squamish River Valley, is nestled between the Squamish and Elaho Rivers. Northeast of the lake, Blanca Peak provides an easy hike with sweeping views in a secluded area. Although Blanca Lake is nearer to Whistler, the entry point is via Squamish Valley Road. The most demanding part of the journey is the 40km drive on forest service roads to reach the trailhead, roughly a 3-hour trip from Vancouver.
