• The BCMC Trail, situated to the east of the Grouse Grind, provides a quieter workout alternative. It begins at the same point as the Grind, diverges onto the Baden Powell, and then takes a left at a junction leading steeply up to the Grouse Mountain chalet. It's worth noting that many opt to return via the Grouse Gondola due to the treacherous, rocky descent. As of 2021, the Gondola ticket is $20 and can be bought at the chalet atop. The distance and time mentioned for this trail are for a one-way journey, assuming hikers will use the gondola for the return, unlike other trails listed on the site.
